Responsibilities: ? Establishment and implementation of EU and UK funded collaborative research ? Technical and planning input to marketing department ? Liaison with Legal team to manage the IP and patent activities of the company ? Technical support for all aspects of the SAFC Hitech product portfolio Key achievements: ? Successful funding support gained for numerous collaborative projects with national and international consortia (5-10 running simultaneously, 1-5 million typical budget). All aspects of project assembly and implementation performed to ensure targets achieved. ? Technical article writing/editing/publication world wide to disseminate data on new research results. (Eg external newsletter, technical bulletins, product performance presentations, press releases, trade magazines, peer review journals totalling over 100). ? Close interaction with marketing team including campaign design and implementation to raise profile of product advances with global customer base. Editor of newsletter continually rated as number one promotional vehicle. ? Technical information support provided for both internal and external clients via scientific presentations and posters at client sites or at national and international conferences mainly in Europe but also in US and Japan.
